What is Microblading and how much does it cost?
Microblading, also known as eyebrow embroidery, 3D eyebrows, or feathering, is a natural form of semi- permanent makeup that enhances the overall appearance of the eyebrows.
Microblading is perfect for those who want to fully reconstruct, define, cover gaps, or fill-in over plucked brows. Also, for those who just want to add a slight arch, the results are undetectable.
Microblading is a two-appointment process with the initial visit lasting 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Measuring and drawing the shape with a removable pencil is the longest part and the most important step. No two brows are alike so we customize the best shape for you and your look. A follow-up visit is recommended 4-6 weeks after your initial appointment. This allows enough time for the pigment to properly set and, if needed, make adjustments as the healing process is different for everyone.
Your Scheduled Appointment:
An in-depth and full consultation is provided to completely understand your expectations and to also help you understand what results are possible. A health history form needs to be completed to ensure your skin, and you, are in good condition before beginning treatment.
This is most detailed and most important step in microblading. We use an erasable pencil to draw and measure to customize the shape of your brows to fit your facial features. We will not move forward with the procedure until you are completely satisfied with your brow shape.
Topical anesthetics are used to numb the area to be microbladed. There can be some discomfort even after the topical anesthetic has been used, but most clients report feeling little or nothing. The anesthetic will be allowed to absorb into the skin for 20 minutes.
During the microblading process, the artist will create micro-strokes using a handheld tool comprised of six to fourteen micro needles to implant the pigment into your skin. The process usually takes 30-60 minutes to complete. takes 30-60 minutes to complete.
Before you leave
We remove any excess pigment in the treated area, take a few photographs of the completed treatment, and apply a thin layer of barrier cream to your new brows. We will go over the after care and discuss in full the healing process, and your touch-up appointment will be scheduled for 4-6 weeks later.
