I take every precaution necessary to ensure the Microblading procedure is as pain free as possible. A strong topical numbing cream is used prior to and during the procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible. Some clients find the procedure a little uncomfortable while others report no discomfort at all. I describe the feeling as a broken #2 wood pencil scraping on your skin.

Results can vary from person to person, depending on your lifestyle, skin type, and skin care routine. Microblading can last between 12 - 18 months A touch-up appointment is usually recommended yearly.

No down time is required after a microblading procedure. It takes approximately 7-14 days for the brows to heal over, and about 1 month for the color to fully set in. You'll notice the color is very light right after the two weeks after healing; the skin will have an opaque milky looking quality to it. After the full healing period the color will be sharp and defined.

WHO SHOULD NOT HAVE MICROBLADING?
If you:

• Have been using Accutane or have been off of Accutane for less than a year
• Have used Retin-A within the last 2 weeks
• Have active acne or pimples on the eyebrows
• Have heart conditions or using heart medications
• Have diabetes (will require a physician's note)
• Have skin disease or irritations or bruises and cuts
• Have had Botox in the last 2 weeks
• Have had a chemical peel in the last 4 weeks
• Are allergic to lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine or epinephrine
• has any serious medical conditions may require a physician's note
• Pregnant or nursing clients.
• Minors under the age of 18. No exception even with guardians permission.

During the procedure there may be some minor bleeding. This depends on the client. If you take blood thinners on a daily basis, then some slight bleeding may occur. Some redness and/or swelling may occur, but quickly disappears within an hour after procedure. There is usually some tenderness for a few days.

For the first Microblading session, the entire procedure should take about 2 1/2 hours. During this session, I will shape and style the client’s brows for client approval. I then follow with pigment color selection. Once the client is satisfied with the choices, I begin the procedure.
